The policy of the Foundation Board of Trustees is to involve chapter alumni association leaders in the creation of criteria, formation of program priorities and selection of grant recipients. This management includes fund accounting, investing, and preparing required reports for the Internal Revenue Service. Leadership education grants for participation in institutes, seminars, and conventions.Educational facility grants to the selected chapter.

Award scholarships based on academic and leadership criteria. In this case, the restriction is that the funds and earnings on the investment of the funds may be used only for a particular chapter, meaning that if you donate to your chapter’s fund, it may only be used for your chapter. Though proud of their accomplishments, the men of Beta Alpha Chapter recognize more work is still to be done and will continue to grow and bring noble men into the brotherhood.Ī Chapter Fund is a restricted account from the Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation. On January 28, 2017, Beta Alpha Chapter was rewarded for their hard work, and officially re-chartered. The Beta Alpha Chapter has given back through community service and has raised significant funds for its local philanthropy, True North, and its national philanthropy, Special Olympics. Years later the efforts are unmistakable. 
With the purpose of creating a brotherhood of noble men of principle, the chapter set out to grow and make an impact. Together with the leadership of the first executive board and the character and determination of every member, the chapter quickly rose to the challenge.

The men of Beta Alpha Chapter had a tremendous challenge ahead of them entering their first full semester in the fall of 2015 with only 14 brothers. Re-founded in the spring of 2015, Beta Alpha Chapter has quickly regained its recognition among fraternities at Missouri and the many Sig Tau chapters around the country. In the fall of 2021, brothers volunteered at the annual Russel Elementary Fall Festival.
The brothers of Beta Alpha enjoy serving their local community. Brother Drew Cusumano was also elected Mizzou’s Greek Week King! Mizzou’s chapter won Greek Week in 2021. The Beta Alpha Chapter moved into a new house in Greektown in 2021. The chapter currently has 52 active members. Sig Tau’s Beta Alpha Chapter was re-chartered in January of 2017. The Beta Alpha Chapter at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri was first established in 1958 with 41 Founding Fathers.
